The 20 acres site is abutting the game sanctuary. The site has orchards of mango and Guava trees. The site slopes 4 to 5 m longitudinally. The placement of tents, 25 in number is as per site slopes and existing trees.
The brief was to develop it as an exclusive tented resort, giving client an experience of natural habitat. So the landscape concept is to enhance the natural flora and fauna of the site by adding indigenous flowering and fruiting trees and shrubs.
Only some of the areas have been designed as manicured greens like swimming pool area, entrance court and planting below the mongo orchard. A winding lake is created to take care of surface drainage and rain water. The amphitheater sits in the lake, with stage & change rooms across the water, on the other edge. Various bridges on the lake are designed as over flow features, as the lake has varying levels of water.
The whole ambience created is like an extension of the sanctuary.
