This luxury Hotel is located in the area of Delhi International Airport Authority Ltd. along with 12 other hotels. It has 500 plus rooms with a large banquet. The premise also has a commercial block on the North East corner. The brief was to create a contemporary, luxury feel for the exterior, befitting the JW Marriott Brand. The original landscape concept is done by PLA from Bangkok, Thailand.
Water element is used at both the entries, Hotel & the Commercial. The hotel drop off is quiet long and face a decorative stone panel on the boundary wall in the midst of green hedges, along with a very linear water feature. North East corner with the commercial block face a large stepped water feature with the back drop of structured Yucca plantation. The banquet drop off is on the south side, facing a linear green island.
The swimming pool is on the 2nd floor terrace, with pool deck, drinks pavilion and private decks outside the rooms. The separation is done with tall hedges. The pool deck is also divided into 2 spaces, one with the pool bar and the other adjacent to the pool for loungers with wooden decking on both sides.
The executive terrace deck is raised from the inside by almost 1-2 m and this height is taken care of, by a water fall, seen from the inside. Both the terraces are connected by a spiral staircase, to create easy access for the guest.
