Hotel Holiday Inn on Juhu beach has always been a popular destination. The original building was designed by P.G. Patki in late 1970’s, and a major refurbishment project was undertaken in 2005. The site had to cater for new Banquet block with its separate Entry/ Exit. Besides the philosophy of new operating brand of Novatel Hotels, which is contemporary with low maintenance, the design had to be incorporated in the look & feel of all indoor/ outdoor areas.

Most of the open space is towards the west, next to the sea. And this space is designed to take multiplicity of functions like extension of bar, outdoor alfresco dining, pool, pool deck, and outdoor barbecue restaurant. These areas have been defined by the use of water, levels, finishing materials and diverse plantation.

The result is an interactive space with serene ocean view.
