Hotel Holiday Inn on Juhu beach has always been a popular destination. The original building was designed by P.G. Patki in late 1970ís, and a major refurbishment project was undertaken in 2005. The site had to cater for new Banquet block with its separate Entry / Exit. Besides the philosophy of new operating brand of Novatel Hotels, which is contemporary with low maintenance design had to be incorporated in the look & feel of all indoor / outdoor area.

Most of the open space is towards the west, next to the sea. And this space is designed to take multiplicity of function like extension of bar, outdoor alfresco dinning, pool, pool deck, and outdoor barbecue restaurant. The definition of these various areas is done by use of water, levels, finishing materials and planters. The result is an interactive space with serene ocean view.
